Is shopping entertainment? I think on Ebay it can be, as long as you don't get addicted to buying stuff online.

The Tele

FarscapeOn the Sci Fi Channel

has sadly been canceled but I've tried to Save Farscape, but it may have a future in anime only.

The Invisible Man: A good series but it, too, has ended.

THE IRON CHEF: addicting TV show, a cult hit in Japan and  the US. I saw part of the Iron Chef USA, it just wasn't the same.

Fav Eats

In Towson

The Orient  319 York Road 410-296-90000

Great menu, good food.  Huge Sushi Rolls.  The Spicy Salmon Tempura is excellent, but huge, the Orient roll is fantastic.  I've been meaning to try the Towson Roll, but haven't gotten around to it yet.  Avosashi, with only avocados and miso sauce is great too.

Thai One On/San Sushi Too 11 W. Pennsylvania Avenue

410-825-0907 &

If you haven't given Thai food a chance, try the Pad Thai, it's great stuff.  Cause I'm a college kid on a budget, I can't afford to go there very often.  It's got a great atmosphere, the food presentation is beautiful.

Golden Gate Noodle House 6 Allegheny Avenue

410-337-2557

I think a husband and wife team run the place.  I've only been there once when they had more than one person running the dining room.  Because they have so few workers, it's not the best service, but the Chinese food is excellent, try the Honey Sesame Chicken or the Won Ton Soup Hong Kong Style.

Kabob Hut 13 Allegheny Avenue
410-821-8005

The only place I know of where you can get hot, fresh, pita bread and amazing, authentic kabobs for a reasonable price ($6-10) and read an arabic newspaper.

Sushi Hana 41/2 E. Pennsylvania Avenue 410-823-0372

Save up your money for this place, I assure you it's worth it.  Authentic Japanese cuisine, great service.  Po is usually there hosting, and he makes great suggestions.  But best of all they take At&T Student Advantage cards that give you a discount as well as a free drink.  Yama Rolls and Godzilla Rolls!  You can't get them anywhere else.

Kennelworth Plaza

Italian Gardens has the best pizza.  Dang it, they don't deliver.

Places I ought to go more often

In Fells' Point Blue Moon 1621 Aliceanna Street, Baltimore 410-522-3940

This place has odd hours, great service, and it's perfect for those midnight runs for breakfast.  Chorizo omelets, fresh berry crepes, mmmm.

Paper Moon 227 W. 29th Street 410-889-4444

Go for the decor - watch out for the manikin that's hanging out of the wall.  Amazing homefries, to-die-for bread pudding, and of course, Hummus; life on the pita.

Amicci's 231 High Street 410-528-1096

Reasonable priced, tasty, Italian cooking.

Vaccaros in Little Italy 410-685-4905

Cream puffs as big as your fist.  Gelati, Gelati, Gelati!

Bombay Grill 2 E. Madison Street 410-837-8179

Heavenly food, marvelous service.  Lassis and Nirvana.

The Helmand 806 N. Charles Street 410-752-0311

Afghani food fit for a king.

McCormick & Schmick's 711 Eastern Avenue Inner Harbor Pier 5 Baltimore, MD 410-234-1300

They specialize in seafood, a new menu every day based on the fresh fish they procured that day..

A place Jeff highly recommends to me to go for low priced, but delicious, sushi: Light and Cross Street Market Near the Hyatt Regency on light street 3 blocks down past the Maryland Science Center. It's on my list fo places to visit.

As you can tell, I like to eat. I've got to do something about that.
