Ever play six degrees of Kevin Bacon?

Now, you can play six degrees of Mei!

I'm going to put a number beind the person's name for the degree...

First and foremost let's see if we can get toKevin Bacon in six degrees...

Mei knows Abby(1), who met Ben Kingsley(2) while she was in England. Ben Kingsley played the Vice President in Dave with Kevin Kline(3), and Kevin Kline played the lead in a movie where he starred opposite of Meg Ryan in French Kiss. As we all know, Meg Ryan starred with Tom Hanks in quite a few movies - my favorite being Sleepless in Seattle. Then Tom Hanks starred in Apollo 13 with Kevin Bacon.

From Ben Kingsley (2), we can get to all sorts of people like River Phoenix(3) and Robert Redford(3) in Sneakers, and Sigorney Weaver(3), Charles Grodin(3), and Ving Rhames(3) in Dave.

I only mentioned Charles Grodin(3) as interesting because we can get to David Duchovney(4) from his rather annoying appearance in Beethoven.

David Duchovney(4) starred in the little known movie, Kalifornia, tracking a serial killer, played by Brad Pitt(5).

Back to Kevin Kline!

Kevin Kline(3) was very hard to kill a movie he starred in with Tracy Ullman(4). That movie was I Love You to Death.

From Tracy Ullman(4) we can reach Homer Simpson(5) because the cartoon first debuted on her self-titled Fox series.

From Kevin Kline(3) we can reach Hayden Christiansen(4) in Life as a House who will also be in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones with Ewan McGregor(5), as Ben Kenobi. AND Ewan McGregor played a lovesick writer in Moulin Rouge with Nichole Kidman(6).

That reminds me, Ving Rhames(3) who starred in Dave can also be linked to Tom Cruise(4) in Mission Impossible.

And maybe it would have been faster to get to Kevin Bacon(5) who was in A Few Good Men with Tom Cruise(4) who was in Mission Impossible with Ving Rhames(3) who also was in Dave with Ben Kingsley(2) who met Abby(1) in England. Phew!

We can also get a few degrees elsewhere without dear Abby...(bad pun sorry Abby). When I was in college, I knew someone who worked behind the scenes in the movies too. I was the Vice President of the Student Government my senior year and the President had to step down because of shooting schedules in Atlanta. Katie Roach (1), who worked behind the scenes in the movie that had a limited release called World Traveler.

World Traveler starred Juliana Moore(2) who also starred in Hannibal with Anthony Hopkins(3).

In addition to Juliana Moore, it also starred Billy Crudup(3)who was in Almost Famous with Kate Hudson(4) and Frances McDormand(5)(you know the boy's mom) and she is best known for her work in Fargo with William H. Macy(6).

Oh, and another person Abby(1) met in England was Warwick Davis(2). He was trying out for Lord of the Rings before they decided against a cast of little people. Warwick Davis (not to be confused with Dion Warwick) played the lead in Willow as well as Wicket in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi co-starring with Harrison Ford(3).

Warwick Davis(2) also was in Harry Potter and played Professor Flitwick AND a Gringotts Goblin with Richard Harris(3) who played Dumbledore and Marcus Aurelius in Gladiator with Russell Crowe(4).

Just think if I' know you, then you're one degree away from me and well, maybe you're almost famous too.

And why on earth would I make a page like this? Just to forward you on to the page with my friends on it, 'cause they're more important than any of the famous folks six degrees removed from me!

They ought to be famous just for putting up with me!
